Usage Based Billing

Wow, who knew the Internet had any power with the government? The Liberals have it as part of their platform to overturn the decision by the CRTC for their next election. Following that, the Conservative Government promised to look into it and make a decision by March 1st. For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about, check out this website:

I believe there are protests coming soon, so keep an eye out for those and join in!

Peter’s off to Australia!

My cousin Peter left for Australia yesterday, and he just landed there today. He was inspired by my trip to Europe (search my blog for posts about it!), and he decided to go off on his own adventure. I’m really excited for him and I’d love to be able to do what he’s doing right now! Although he won’t be going for school, he is going to work in Australia via the SWAP program (swap.ca). They get you setup with a visa, a place to stay for two weeks, some people to meet up with, and a few other things to get you on the right foot. He also went with another friend of mine, Safari, they should have a great time. I’m really excited for him, and I can not wait to hear all of his ridiculous stories!

Saying our goodbyes to Peter and Safari at the airport

Incase you’re interested, here is the first post of his new travel blog:
